Adi Kailash Yatra: A Heavenly Journey by Helicopter

For a whole week, there will be a one-day trip available to see Adi Kailash and Om Parvat. Starting from April 10, there will be a four-day tour. The main aim is to encourage more people to visit the border areas and help locals earn more money.

Kirti Chandra Arya, the District Tourism Development Officer, said that religious tourism might increase in the future. They plan to involve local homestay owners in this scheme to stop people from leaving the area and give them chances to work for themselves. He also mentioned that the next group of travelers will start their journey to Adi Kailash on April 3.

Adi kailash Yatra  4 Day Package Price

From April 15 to May 10, 2024, there will be a four to five-day trip to Adi Kailash and Om Parvat.

On the first day, the journey will start from Delhi to Pithoragarh by road, and on the second day, they’ll take a helicopter to Gunji. On the third day, they’ll fly to Joling Kong and Adi Kailash by helicopter. After exploring Parvati Sarovar, Shiv Parvati Temple, and Adi Kailash with all-terrain vehicles, they’ll return to Gunji by helicopter. On the fourth day, they’ll visit Om Parvat by helicopter from Gunji. Then, they’ll stay overnight in Nabhidhang, Gunji, and Napalchu.

Finally, on the fifth day, they’ll fly back to Pithoragarh from Gunji.

 

Day	Itinerary
Day 1	Departure from Pithoragarh Helipad to Gunji. Explore the scenic views from Gunji. Overnight stay at a Home Stay in Gunji.
Day 2	Helicopter travel to Nabhidhang and view the sacred Om Parvat from the Nabhidhang viewpoint. Explore Kalapani before returning to Gunji for the night.
Day 3	Helicopter journey to Joling Kong for a view of Adi Kailash from the viewpoint. Visit Parvati Sarovar before returning to Gunji for the night.
Day 4	Return to Pithoragarh Helipad from Gunji. Tour concludes.

• No refund for cancellations within 15 days of Arrival Date/ No Show.
• 50% refund for cancellations made between 15 to 30 days prior to Arrival.
• 10% refund for cancellations made 30 Days & More prior to Arrival (taxes are not refunded in any case).
